You'll feel like part of the family, welcomed with love and kindness.
Hanan will take you on a captivating journey through the rich Hijazi traditions, sharing stories about engagement and marriage customs, celebrations for the arrival of a newborn, the ambiance of Ramadan and Eid festivities—all told in a delightful narrative style that brings joy and nostalgia for the beautiful past.
Next, you'll savor the most delicious and distinctive Hijazi dishes, blending authenticity with unforgettable flavors. You’ll be hosted at a Saudi Hijazi table with famous dishes like Kabuli rice, Taif Saliq, Medina rice, and Sambousek.
From the cherished past, you’ll also enjoy moments of fun with traditional games such as Carrom, Kamkam, and Barjoon. These games are not just for entertainment but are part of the Hijazi community's spirit and memory.
Additionally, you'll explore traditional attire that reflects the identity of the region, such as the Thobe and gold-threaded Agal for men, and the Zuboon and Madini dresses for women. You'll even have the opportunity to wear these outfits and capture beautiful memories with photos.
No experience would be complete without trying iconic Saudi drinks like mint-infused tea, Sahlab, or Karak, adding an extra touch of warmth to this special journey.
Finally, Hanan will bid you farewell with wishes for you to discover more of Saudi Arabia's diverse beauty. She will also share stories about celebrations, special occasions such as engagements, weddings, the arrival of a newborn, and various social and national traditions that reflect the richness of Saudi and Arab culture.

I am a mother of 5 children and a retired English language teacher. I love reading, traveling and learning about the customs and traditions of peoples. I have friends of all nationalities. I can cook, especially Hijazi cooking. I would like to be an ambassador for my country in my country. I love the Saudi heritage and folklore and am very keen to pass it on to the children , grandchildren and future generations, preserve it and introduce it on all occasions.
