I went to experience the art class with Muneera with my 7,5 year-old daughter. It was a beautiful activity. First we had traditional kahva, talked about her background and got to know each other. Then we looked at the samples on her walls and explored the materials that she had neatly prepared. She helped my daughter and I throughout the process, guiding us about color choice, design layout and combining different materials. The whole thing was inspirational and provided us with an insight into Saudi Art and lifestyle. We had tea and crackers at the end while we chatted some more. It was very cozy and friendly, while being creative. I highly recommend it for interested parties.

Muneera started the visit with a traditional Saudi coffee service, including dates and her special homemade rolls. She then showed her art to the kids and explained how the collage project would work. They chose traditional Saudi fabric or paper to use with other decorative items and paint on canvas. I loved that the activity was so accessible and they each had great results to bring home and hang on the wall! Definitely recommend this activity to introduce children to Saudi culture.
